Experiential Outdoor Leadership Courses

Programme
Set in an outdoor lodge in the Cairngorm National Park (easily accessible by bus and train – see location page) these courses will develop leadership skills through outdoor experiential learning.
All activities will be ‘hands on’ and outdoors, exploring the ‘soft’ skills associated with leadership – communication, group dynamics, personal reflection/review, team building etc.
Based on a leadership module developed for Aberdeen University MSc graduates, this residential will enhance participants self awareness and understanding of necessary skills for future leadership roles.
Above all, the course will explore and expand horizons in an active and fun environment in a beautiful part of the country!

Open Gold Expedition – Italy
Open Gold Walking Expedition with Adventurascotland (AAP)
Schilpario, near Bergamo
May 28th – June 3rd
£415/person
The first 2 nights will be spent in local accommodation (food provided) with team building, pre expedition preparation, route planning etc.
Days 3-6 will be your expedition in the Valle de Scalve mountain area (expedition food not included but can be bought locally)
Night 6 back in the refugio.
Return to Bergamo on day 7.
The expedition will be supervised and assessed by Accredited Assessors, and can be counted as a practice or final expedition or residential opportunity. Accommodation/food (on days not on expedition), route advice, supervision, assessment all included.
Flights and transfer to Schilpario refugio not included.
Ryanair offer cheap flights to Milan (Bergamo – Orio Al Serio Airport), with a 7 Euro/single bus fare from Bergamo to Schilpario.
